Hey there! I am thrilled you are here and checking things out! As you look around and get familiar with my photography services, I want you to get to know me as well. Keep on reading and when we get together to work on your session hopefully you feel like you already know the lady behind the camera!
I am a daydreamer, a bit of a hopeless romantic, an easy going Type A girly, and a craft junkie. I have always been one to daydream about the future and what possibilities are out there. I mix that with my hopeless romantic notions and then I am stuck thinking about the next trip I can convince my husband to take that has us being the stars of my own inner RomCom. In all honesty though, I just feel that the world is a giant playground and our time here is already limited so why not get out there and bottle up all the new experiences and memories that we can.
While I did mention being a Type A girly, I mix that together with a healthy love for spontaneity! I love my lists, my planner, being the coordinator of all the things, but I also love going off the beaten path and saying 'yes' on a whim. I think that could be called organized chaos to some? Probably, but I love it!
Some of my favorite things to do are DIY projects, crochet, and trying out fun crafts in general. I was a classic DIY Bride and felt that I could always make the things I had in mind, even if the process to get there seemed like more work than just buying it. It's about the journey anyway, right?!
I love bringing that same creative energy into our sessions and creating something that is truly going to speak to the people I am working with. A donut picnic in the park? Yes! Senior pics at your fave haunted house? Yes! Baby announcement via paint session? Yes! Including your bearded dragon in your session? Also, yes!
Whatever is unique to you and your story, let's include it and preserve a memory in the process!
Meet the people who fuel my heart and motivate me most, my family! My husband, Matthew, is the best partner, joke teller, cheerleader, chef, adventure goer, and father. He is truly my best friend and we have so much fun together no matter what we are doing. He has been a driving force in the continued pursuits of my creative endeavors and supports my wildest dreams. He is ride-or-die status and I am so glad us girls get to call him ours!
Next, my girls! I have the honor to be a bonus mama to our oldest and mama to our newest little lady. These girls are my EVERYTHING. Whether we are going on scooter rides around the neighborhood, having Taylor Swift dance parties in the living room, playing fear factor during camp outs, or snuggling on the couch for a movie night, hanging with my girls will always be my favorite activity. They are my little slice of heaven. Add in our fur babies and all together we make the perfect blend!
My interest in photography has been around since I was in the 8th grade. I got a hot pink digital camera to take with me on my D.C. Trip and captured the silly memories, and too many duck lip faces, from then and all through high school. When I was in college I got involved in the Miss America Organization and had my fair share of photo shoots. I thought those photoshoots were so much fun and enjoyed them a lot, but my favorite images were always the ones where you could nearly hear my laughter, see the smile from a joke, or the pure happiness in the moments when my name was called on stage. When I graduated college and started working, I was missing the creative outlet that photography provided. I wanted to add more meaning to the work I was doing so I decided I would dive all in on photography. On my 25th birthday in October of 2019 I launched Hannah Danielle Photography. It has allowed me to continue capturing those genuine moments that I loved having captured for me back when I was competing. Now, I get to do that for people on some of the most important days in their lives, as their families grow, as they preserve memories with loved ones, and simply want to document an adventure with their best friend. HDP has been one of the best birthday gifts and I am so glad you are here checking it out! I cant wait to meet you and see what fun and creative opportunity we can create together!
